Job Description

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in endoscopic procedures, including Pre/Post Procedures, in an inpatient setting with pediatric experience preferred. Certifications needed are ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

The shift is DAYS 3x12-Hour shifts, including weekends (F-M), with specific hours from 6:45-19:15 on Monday or Friday, and 5:30-18:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with no call or float requirements, but weekend work is mandatory.

Contract staff may be assigned to storm or hurricane teams and could be required to work during catastrophic events or disasters. There may be consolidation to the centralized office during the contract, with preassignment to units as needed.

Special procedures performed include EGD, Colonoscopies, ERCP, EBUS, EUS, Bronchoscopies, and Nav Bronchs. Unit systems used are Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. Orientation is 30 hours, and scrubs are provided.
