SUMMARY

The Emergency Department registered nurse must be able to assess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythm strips, keep records, and provide patients with support and education.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Experience: One (1) year acute care or related experience preferred.
• Required License/Certifications: Current CA RN License. Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS upon hire. ABM/MAB/CPI within 90 days of hire, annual thereafter.
• Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
• Must have the ability to meet essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Physical Requirements: Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Review the physical activities and working conditions form for this position.
