Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is interviewing for an RN ER to join a leading 500+ bed hospital in Salem, VA. The role offers Nights, Days, Mixed shifts with 36 hours per week.

RN licensure in VA or multi-state compact is required, with a BSN preferred and BLS certification. A $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are included, plus a competitive benefits package. Qualifications

• Cross-training considered for Med Surg candidates to cover NIGHTS

• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs based on acuity levels

• Document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy
• Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments, while remaining patient-focused and safety-aware at all times

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Education: Diploma or Associate Degree from a professional nursing program required; BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred
• License: Current RN licensure in Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA required
• Certification: AHA BLS required
• Experience: Will consider 1 year of RN ER experience in an acute care setting
• Cross-training: Will consider Med Surg candidates to cross-train – ONLY FOR NIGHTS SHIFT
