Responsibilities
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent. BSN preferred.
Experience:
1 - 2 years of acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
License/Certification:
This position requires a current RN license in the State of Nevada, current BLS Certification, current ACLS Certification, current PALS Certification (for pediatric patients), or current NRP Certification (for neonatal patients) as required by the department. Other certifications may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
Other:
Must comply with hospital-based competencies regarding blood-borne pathogen exposure, age-specific care, and patient safety.
Testing:
Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the department.
Pay Range:
$40.08-$57.23 per hour DOE
