Position: Registered Professional Nurse

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for managing patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Qualifications / Job Requirements:

1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
2. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS.
3. Must pass Critical Care exam within one month of employment or have a current CEN certificate. Past Emergency Department experience preferred.
4. One year of medical/surgical experience as an RN.
5. Meet physical pre-placement screening requirements.
6. Experience in ambulatory care settings or physician office practice, with supervisory experience preferred.
7. High level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, staff, and management.
8. Highly motivated, able to work outside normal hours as volume demands.
9. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
10. Ability to collaborate with other healthcare personnel.
11. Strong organizational skills.
