Novant Health's Clements Ferry Emergency Department in Charleston, SC is hiring for a full-time registered nurse to join a 24/7 freestanding ED. You will provide direct and/or indirect nursing care, assess needs, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes while floating to comparable units as needed.

Candidates must hold a current unrestricted RN license, have 3+ years of emergency nursing, and hold or obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Qualifikationen

• Current unrestricted RN license.
• 3+ years of emergency nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• TNCC required within one year of hire.
• IV therapy competency within one year.

Department: Emergency Room

Position Type: Full Time (36 hours)

Work Schedule: 7p-7a

What You'll Do

• Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse
• Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients
• Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics (unless otherwise specified)
• Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports department goals
• Delivers nursing care aligned with established practice standards and clinical guidelines
• Must be willing and able to float to comparable nursing units as needed

What We're Looking For

• Current unrestricted RN license
• 3+ years of emergency nursing experience required
• Successful completion of nursing service orientation program
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• NRP preferred (provided during training if not currently certified)
• TNCC required within one year of hire
• IV therapy competency within one year
• Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competencies
• Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged
