Baptist Health System, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at the SilverLeaf location in Sanford, FL. This is a PRN, day shift opportunity.

The role involves delivering safe, evidence-based care to emergency patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and serving as a patient advocate. 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical and telemetry experience are required, with ED experience preferred and Hospital experience required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience required.

• Hospital experience required.
• ASN is required; BSN preferred; RN license required; BLS required; ACLS preferred; additional certifications welcome.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
