Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at our new Baptist SilverLeaf location in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, night shift opportunity.

The role requires 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing experience, telemetry/ED experience preferred, and active RN licensure with BLS; ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS are favorable. Diploma nurses with 5+ years of progressive care are considered.

Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
• CEN, TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
