Job summary

Endeavor Health, based in Illinois, is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Arlington Heights. The role involves patient assessment, care coordination, and clear communication with patients and families during 7pm-7:30am shifts, with every other weekend.

This is a full-time position (36 hours per week) offering opportunities to provide high-quality care in a Magnet-recognized organization. The position requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois licensure, and current CPR

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and health professionals in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Takes patient/family teaching into account to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

What You Will Do

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What You Will Need

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
