Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an RN for the Emergency Department in Arlington Heights, IL. The role offers 7pm–7:30am shifts, full-time or part-time with a 36-hour week. You will perform patient assessments, coordinate care, and teach patients and families while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Required are an associates or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. Our benefits include medical plans, retirement options, shift premiums, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Nursing education required: Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois nursing license is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and staff in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality and improvement initiatives.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Position: RN - Emergency Department

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Full time/Part time: Full Time, 36 hours/week

Hours: 7pm-7:30am; Every other weekend

Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.


• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.


• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.


• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.


• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.


• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing


• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois


• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
