Job summary

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. Night shift, 36 hours scheduled per week, with opportunities for growth and a nurse residency program.

Must hold a Virginia or Compact RN license with BLS within 90 days. Education options include ADN, BSN, Diploma, or MSN. You will assess patients, administer meds, round, and communicate with families while working with a collaborative ED team.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multistate license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• RN degree option: Associate's, Bachelor's, Diploma, or Master's.

Emergency Department (ED

– Sentara CarePlex Hospital Emergency Department is focused on providing exceptional emergency service to patients. The Emergency Department consists of 43 beds, including 11 fast-track beds for patients with shorter lengths of stay. Emergency physicians are board-certified. All emergency nurses undergo specialized training in emergency care and have received Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric certifications.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
