Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and support families.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 9am–9pm shifts and every third weekend. IL nursing license, Associate or BSN, and AHA CPR are required.

This position offers competitive hourly pay with a path toward a minimum raise to $37.25 and opportunities for professional development within a Magnet-inspired health system.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.

• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October 2026.

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
