Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This per diem role offers 7pm-7:30am shifts with weekend coverage, providing patient assessment, care coordination, and teaching to patients and families.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or BSN, an active Illinois nursing license, and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October 2026.

Position Highlights:

• Position: RN - Emergency Department - Per Diem

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

• Hours: 7pm-7:30am; weekend coverage

• Per Diem Commitment Level 1: 32-72 hours per 6-week schedule

• Required Travel: No

What you will do:
