The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts responsible for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The RN manages patients by assuming full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, reporting directly to a nurse manager or supervisor.
