Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role includes completing assessments, administering medications, and coordinating patient care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments


• Administer medications/treatments


• Observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness


• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient


• Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes

• Demonstrate interpersonal skills

Education Required

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required

• State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility) BLS Certification

Experience

• Emergency Department experience required.

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Preferred

• At least one year of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting ACLS, PALS Certification (required within 6 weeks of hire) TNCC Certification, preferred

Shift

• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours a week. Weekend and Holiday rotation.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $36.93 - $80.96
