Job summary

Anna Jaques Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Newburyport, MA. This 24-hour-per-week role includes a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shift with weekend rotation and a weekend option stipend.

You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians to tailor care in a supportive team. We require MA RN licensure (or eligibility), BLS, and ED experience; ACLS/PALS within 6 weeks, TNCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Massachusetts RN licensure or eligibility.
• BLS Certification.
• Emergency Department experience required.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 weeks of hire.
• TNCC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe progress and evaluate therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy for each patient.
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and teamwork in a fast-paced ED setting.
