Loyola Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Loyola Emergency Department. The role involves 7p-7a/3p-3a shifts with every other weekend and holiday, and care across adults and pediatric patients in a Level I trauma and stroke center.

The RN must hold BSN or ADN, BLS certification, Illinois RN license, and have at least one year of hospital experience. Competitive benefits, tuition assistance, and residency programs are offered.

The Loyola Emergency Department (ED) provides comprehensive, 24/7 emergency care to a diverse patient population spanning all age groups, from newborns to geriatric patients. With 28 beds, including dedicated trauma and pediatric bays, the ED manages a wide spectrum of medical, surgical, and psychiatric conditions. As a level 1 American College of Surgeons verified trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, it offers specialized care such as cardiac monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and trauma interventions. Staffed by a team of highly credentialed nurses, the department operates under rigorous professional standards aligned with national guidelines and regulatory requirements. The ED serves approximately 42,000 visits annually and engages in community outreach through educational initiatives and support programs. The position is 7p-7a/ 3p to 3a, every other weekend, every other holiday.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:

• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN

• Required: At least one year of RN experience in a hospital setting

Compensation:

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.97 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
