Job summary

UCSF Health in San Francisco is seeking a registered nurse with Emergency Department experience to provide safe, therapeutic care within an interdisciplinary team. You will collaborate with physicians, residents, and allied health staff to meet complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires performing ongoing assessments, planning and implementing care plans, and supporting colleagues to ensure high-quality patient outcomes at UCSF Stanyan and Hyde EDs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of RN clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Emergency Department RN experience.
• Flexibility to orient and work at UCSF Stanyan and Hyde Emergency Departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system

Licensure And Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification
• Current healthcare provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Current healthcare provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
