IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for PT evenings, PRN and FT roles. A $30,000 sign-on bonus applies (through 9/30/2026) for eligible positions.

The RN will support a Level III trauma center with ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications paid for by IU Health. Ideal candidate has at least one year of RN experience, an active IN RN license, and BSN is preferred.

SHIFTS: PT Evenings, PRN

LOCATION: Ball Memorial Hospital – Muncie, Indiana

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026).This position is also referral eligible. The amount is dependent upon FTE.We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role.

Indiana University Health Ball is a level III trauma center with 48 beds. ED nurses will have ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications paid for IU Health. Growth and development support is provided by leadership and the IU Health Organization. Developing as a nurse is important to us and we had multiple team members present podium and poster presentations at national conferences. Indiana University Health recently became a Pathway to Excellence Designed Hospital.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
