Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at the UMMC West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. The ED RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages, including resuscitation and stabilization in acute and traumatic scenarios.
The role is 0.75 FTE with a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7:30am) and every third weekend, requiring BLS, MN RN license, ADN/ASN and upcoming ACLS/TNCC/ENPC within specified timelines.
Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN.
The registered nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible and accountable for patient assessment, analysis, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention application, and the identification and evaluation of outcomes for patients of all ages and populations. The scope of practice extends from a patient’s entry into the emergency room and continues from triage through discharge. Care is centered on patients and families experiencing acute or chronic, actual or potential physical or psychosocial problems. Unique to emergency nursing are processes that require resuscitation and/or stabilization.
Schedule: This position is a 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks), 12-hour night (7pm - 7:30am) shift, with an every third weekend rotation.
