• Location: Clifton Springs Hospital
• Hours Per Week: Part Time (24 hours per week)
• Schedule: Rotating between Day/Evening (7am-7pm) and Evening/Night (7pm-7am), including weekends and holidays
• Note: Orientation is full-time

Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are the core of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. You make a positive impact daily by providing compassionate, respectful, and courteous care to patients, families, and visitors.

Unit Overview

Join our Emergency Department, featuring 11 medical beds and 6 psychiatric beds, delivering urgent care across diverse medical needs including trauma, pediatric, orthopedic, psychiatric, and more. This environment is fast-paced and diverse, offering daily opportunities to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments using appropriate data.
• Communicate and document patient assessments with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and document individualized care plans.
• Follow organizational policies on safety, medication, and documentation.
• Update care plans based on evaluations and document accordingly.
• Complete at least one clinical research utilization form annually.
• Accumulate a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours per year.
• Complete mandatory in-services and health screens timely.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• RN license in New York State
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
