Beatrice Community Hospital in Beatrice, Nebraska is seeking a Registered Nurse—Emergency Department to join our fast-paced team and provide high-quality patient care. The role involves collaborative assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for assigned patients, adherence to Standards of Practice, and supervising staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Nebraska; CPR/BLS current.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC to be completed within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Job Duties:

Works collaboratively with patients, families and other health care providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. Follows nursing Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care. Provides supervisory oversight to assigned staff, and effectively manages supplies, equipment and other resources.

Qualifications:

Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Nebraska; current CPR/BLS.ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC to be completed within 1 year of hire, 1 year experience preferred.

Shift Schedule:

Full-Time; 3-12 hour shifts, rotating 7:00am-7:00pm and 10:00am-10:00pm shifts, every third weekend and rotating holidays
