Job summary

Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, CA is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide professional nursing care and coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary teams. The role is full-time, 72 hours per pay period, with a mid-shift schedule and non-exempt status.

The position requires CA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus at least 6 months of acute care experience. Wage range is $50.75–$78.45 per hour, DOE, with CMH benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
• Minimum of six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent.
• Successful completion of Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hire.

Salary Range: $50.75 - $78.45 per hour DOE

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) & College of American Pathologist (CAP) Requirements
