Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, Rhinelander, WI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. This position offers Part-Time or 0.6 FTE schedules with 12-hour varied shifts and every third weekend plus holiday rotation.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Wisconsin and/or Michigan, an associate degree in nursing, and current BLS; a Bachelor's degree and specialty certifications are a plus. Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Minimum of three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required based on primary department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Use data collection and analysis to improve nursing quality.

REGISTERED NURSE - ER

Registered Nurse

A professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

Experience/Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, there is a minimum of three years practicing as an RN in comparative setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
• Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
