Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital in Novi, MI is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift (36 hours/week, 7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for eligible FT night nurses.

You will lead care coordination using the nursing process, assess, plan, implement and evaluate, and communicate effectively with patients, families and the health care team.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care using the nursing process.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team and supports families.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
