Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision in a Maryland hospital setting. The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, Maryland RN license, and CPR certification, with one year of RN experience preferred.

You will develop and implement nursing plans of care, administer medications, coordinate with the health team, and educate patients and families for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license with Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification (biennial).
• Experience with nursing plan of care and patient assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop nursing diagnoses.
• Plan and implement care, coordinating with health team.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Document patient status and care plans in medical records.
• Teach patients and families about care and discharge planning.
