UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC is seeking an Emergency Department Nurse Educator to guide the next generation of nurses through innovative teaching and hands-on clinical training. You will collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence in education and patient care.

Requirements include a current North Carolina RN license and a Bachelor’s in Nursing; a Master’s degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or Health Care Administration is preferred and must be completed within 3 years

Qualificações

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree preferred and must be achieved within 3 years of hire if not completed.
• Two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience in the practice area; evidence of nursing competencies (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS) as applicable.

THE POSITION

Join our dedicated team as an Emergency Department Nurse Educator, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing. In this dynamic position, you will inspire and educate the next generation of nurses through innovative teaching methods and hands‑on clinical training. Collaborate with a passionate team committed to excellence and continuous learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing with a minimum of two years clinical experience within the practice area. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or Health Care Administration preferred. Two years of teaching experience preferred. MSN must be achieved within 3 years of hire date if not completed. Must show and maintain evidence of nursing competencies within practice area, including certifications required for area of practice (i.e., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, etc.).
