Martin County Hospital District seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care, assessment, documentation, planning, and discharge planning for assigned patients. The RN administers medications and treatments per physician orders and supervises delegated care to non-licensed staff to maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.

Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20 and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.

Has principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge process of each assigned patient to attain optimal health and continuity of care. The RN administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with the current clinical nursing practice. The RN is responsible for directing, monitoring, and evaluating care delegated to non-licensed personnel ensuring that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment. Cross-trains to all patient care departments to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
One (1) year experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in a hospital environment preferred.
