Martin County Hospital District in Stanton, TX, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our patient care team on a full-time basis.
You will provide total nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and staff to support safe, high-quality care across shifts.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license, CPR/BLS, and ability to cover open shifts on day or night.
Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20 and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.

Cover open shifts, both day or night, in patient care departments wherever there is a need to ensure adequate staffing levels. Has principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge process of each assigned patient to attain optimal health and continuity of care. The RN administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with the current clinical nursing practice. The RN is responsible for directing, monitoring, and evaluating care delegated to non-licensed personnel ensuring that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment.
