Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking an RN for the Night shift in the Emergency Department on W Memorial Rd. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week, with shift coverage and patient care responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

You will apply the nursing process, advocate for patient rights, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure confidentiality and quality care while upholding Mercy Service Standards and mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing with ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Hold an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification (or complete within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure

• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department-required timeframe.
