Job summary

Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd Emergency Department in Moore, OK is seeking a dedicated RN for night shift (full time, 36 hrs/wk). You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications include completing an approved nursing program, maintaining an active RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification; additional unit-specific credentials may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Active RN license in state or compact
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department-required timeframe.
