Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients across medical, surgical and related services while coordinating with physicians and hospital teams.

The role includes patient and family education, advocacy, and participation in unit activities. Education requires ASN in nursing or BA/BS; licensure as RN with BLS. Diploma nurses with 5+ years progressive care qualify, and call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Education includes an ASN in nursing; BA/BS preferred.
• License as Registered Nurse; BLS certification required.
• 5+ years progressive care for diploma nurses.

Responsabilités

• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.

Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Responsibilities include knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation with ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure. This position requires call.
*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.

Education/Degree Required:

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred:

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience:

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
