• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, medications, and self-care.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products per policy for safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient responses and respond to acute changes to ensure timely care.
• Collaborate with case managers to develop and review discharge plans.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse at Genesys Health System, you will use your independent professional judgment and analytical skills to provide a full range of nursing services to patients. • Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to develop and review discharge plans, ensuring continuity of care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
