The role emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive care assessments, care plan implementation, and coordination with the care partner to address educational, physical, and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer adult behavioral health services.

The Detox Center will be managed through a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, and therapists. Patients will experience an individualized care plan, inclusive of individual and family therapy, activities, medication management, and a 24‑hour secure, compassionate environment.

This Registered Nurse opportunity is per diem and a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Detox Unit Registered Nurse that will help provide safe and compassionate care to our patients in the medical/telemetry environment. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
