Universal Health Services (UHS) invites applications for a part-time Detox Unit Registered Nurse at our Northwest Reno facility. The RN will participate in an interdisciplinary team delivering patient-centered care, medication management, and family education within a 24-hour secure environment.
The role emphasizes compassionate support in a telemetry/medical setting. Current RN license and BLS certification are required; prior psychiatric experience is preferred.
Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer adult behavioral health services.
The Detox Center will be managed through a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, and therapists. Patients will experience an individualized care plan, inclusive of individual and family therapy, activities, medication management, and a 24-hour secure, compassionate environment.
