About the Role:

As the Dementia Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dementia unit, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents. With a focus on person-centered care, you will develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate the delivery of care services, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to the dementia unit staff, promoting a culture of excellence and safety
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with dementia, incorporating evidence-based practices and best practices
• Coordinate the delivery of care services, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other caregivers to promote optimal outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance resident care and satisfaction
• Monitor and report on unit performance, including resident outcomes, satisfaction, and quality of care

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in long-term care or acute care settings
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience supervising staff
