Job summary

Rising Ground in Bronx, NY is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor for the I/DD program. The RN provides care management under OPWDD regulations, supervising staff performing delegated nursing tasks, and ensuring compliant medical care and documentation within residents' homes.

The role requires a current NYS nursing license and BLS, with 1+ year experience and OPWDD knowledge. Travel to Rising Ground sites may be required; you must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing license and BLS.
• OPWDD experience and knowledge.
• Ability to utilize nursing assessment skills in an autonomous environment.
• Critical thinking skills to monitor and analyze medical records, reports, triaging calls and supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision for all staff providing medical support to individuals within the residential program.
• Ensure effective medical care with proper documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA regulations and ensure medical well‑being in a safe environment.
• Attend required meetings and participate in trainings.
