Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Corpus Christi, TX. The RN will deliver and supervise nursing care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team and planning discharge, while educating patients and families about post-hospital care.

Qualifications include a current TX RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS eligibility within 90 days; inpatient med-surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or compact licensure.
• BLS certification (AHA approved) is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; Charge Nurses also require ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide care with interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).
