Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is hiring an RN for a full-time position in Day shift. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement criteria.

Role requires assessment, care planning, medication administration, patient education, and strong teamwork. Licensure as RN and BLS certification are required, with a preference for acute care experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitor for adverse reactions per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
