Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan, seeks a Registered Nurse to oversee quality patient care for a defined group and to indirectly supervise nursing staff assigned to that group.

Responsibilities include basic nursing procedures, data collection, and care planning, with a focus on age, physiologic, and cognitive status from admission to discharge. Requires RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS for certain units, and at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification required for certain units.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures and administers medications.
• Performs assessment data collection focusing on patient age, physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status; reviews and evaluates collected data.
• Develops a care plan with nursing actions to achieve patient goals, and coordinates admission to discharge learning for patient/family.
