Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's MidState Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking a registered nurse to join a collaborative, patient-centered care team under the direction of the Nurse Manager.

The RN uses evidence-based practice to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of patients and families, in line with hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• BSN Required.
• BLS certification and proof of Arrhythmia Certification required prior to date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams under the Nurse Manager.
• Apply evidence-based practices to develop a plan of care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, state Nurse Practice Act and guidelines for patient and family care.
