Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions and to participate in education for patients and families. The role involves following provider directions, assisting examinations, and ensuring accurate documentation of care within the medical home and clinic settings.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in good standing; multi-state licensure preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or within 3 months of hire.
• At least 6 months of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents lab results, procedures, and appointments on tracking forms.
• Provides patient and family education to ensure understanding.
• Performs telephone triage and relays information to the provider.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Dispenses medications as directed and educates patients on use.
