You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while communicating clearly with the care team. Applicants must hold a BSN or MSN (ADN acceptable if completed within 5 years) and participate in required education and certifications.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from accredited nursing program; ADN allowed if completed within 5 years.
• Mandatory annual education; ACLS within required timeframes.
• NIH Stroke Scale training within 6 months for NMH Critical Care & MJE Progressive Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and ensure patient understanding and comfort.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments to determine care needs.
• Develop, review and revise individualized care plans; collaborate with teams.
• Implement plan of care safely; follow nursing protocols and standards.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust care; communicate SBAR at shift change.
• Maintain professional behavior and participate in meetings as needed.
