Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Grovetown, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. This role supports assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care while fostering a compassionate, safe, and family-centered environment.

Mondays to Fridays 7:30am–4:00pm with rotating call, you will collaborate with providers and staff to maintain high quality outcomes, participate in performance improvement, and mentor junior nurses as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing (RN) or Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license valid in Georgia.
• BLS certification required; advanced certifications are valued.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, examines, and evaluates patient condition; collaborates with the care team.
• Delivers and documents care per plan, with independent judgment as appropriate.
• Advocates for patients and families; maintains confidentiality and safety.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and supports change.
• Mentors and precepts other nurses; promotes professional growth and teamwork.
