Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will collaborate with the care team, educate patients and families, and ensure patient safety and quality by applying clinical judgment.

The role requires ADN at hire with BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP may be required by unit. Schedule is 36 hours per week, days shift, on-site in Mercyhealth facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws practice act.
• Documents according to standards of care and develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities and peer review processes.
