About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be a key clinical leader responsible for overseeing direct medical care for patients withdrawing from addictive psychoactive substances. You’ll provide vital medical oversight to Certified Medical Assistants and non-medical staff, ensuring safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.

Your role is critical to patient admissions, assessments, ongoing evaluations, and collaborative care planning. You’ll lead by example, providing mentorship and guidance while navigating urgent medical needs and crisis response. By working closely with the Nurse Manager, you’ll be instrumental in helping patients achieve stability and progress in their recovery journey.

What You Will Bring

  • Nursing Leadership: A current, unencumbered Oregon RN license and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Experience in behavioral healthcare with a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
  • Clinical Expertise: Skilled in evaluating and monitoring medically complex patients, documenting in EMRs, coordinating with prescribing providers, and responding to crises with clinical confidence.
  • Collaboration & Communication: An ability to lead through clear communication, compassionate care, and a strong team ethic while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic health records, with a focus on collaborative documentation and clinical efficiency.
  • Certifications: Oregon or Washington driver’s license and CPI certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Physical Ability: Capability to safely operate a motor vehicle to support program operations and continuity of care.
