Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking full-time Registered Nurses to join our Crisis team. The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a 24-hour, 16-bed facility providing intensive behavioral health crisis intervention for up to five days. Our multidisciplinary team includes Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, Therapists, Case Managers, Milieu Counselors, and Peer Support Specialists. The position offers a generous sign‑on bonus, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits, making it an excellent opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals. The Registered Nurse will deliver exceptional clinical care for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises, with a focus on person‑centered, compassionate treatment. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, collaborative, and experienced in psychiatric nursing, with excellent de‑escalation skills, sound clinical judgement, and an active RN license in good standing, along with current BLS certification.

NOC Shifts: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM and 8:30 PM – 9:00 AM

The starting wage is based on licensure and company equity. Paid bi‑weekly.
$40.22- $48.42hourly
Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay. This differential is provided as a fixed amount of$1,800 per calendar year, paid on a bi‑weekly basis across 26 pay periods, and prorated based on hire date and full‑time equivalency (FTE). Eligibilityand payment are subject to the language requirements of theposition and the employee’sdemonstratedproficiencyin the language.
At AMHR, the health and safety of our clients and staff are our top priorities. As part of this commitment, all employees are required to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and present a negative TB test result before their first day of work. Proof of both the flu shot and a negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions can be requested if necessary.
