Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Critical Care Unit, providing direct patient care in a 20-bed unit. The role covers critical and acute medical, surgical, and neurological cases, with care for respiratory distress and detox/withdrawal, all while continuous in-room monitoring ensures patient safety.

Clinical duties include titratable IV drips, chest tubes, BiPAP/high-flow oxygen therapy, and stable tracheostomies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN licensure in the relevant state.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Intermediate Critical Care Unit.
• Address critical and acute medical, surgical, and neurological needs.
• Support patients with respiratory distress, detox/withdrawal, and continuous monitoring.
• Assist with titratable IV drips, chest tubes, BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy, and stable tracheostomies.
