Job summary
Capital Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced care teams and provide high-quality patient care across the system. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Minimum requirements include an RN license in NJ, an Associate degree (BSN preferred), and BLS certification, with ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable. Weekend scheduling is noted in the posting and growth opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or completed nursing program; BSN preferred.
- 1 year related experience or training.
- AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification; NJ RN license.
- ATCN or TNCC required within 1 year of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification or obtain by orientation.
- ACLS/NRP/PALS required or obtainable within specified times depending on unit.
Responsibilities
- Plans and delivers nursing care using the nursing process.
- Educates patients and families about conditions and care plans.
- Collaborates with case managers to optimize outcomes.
- Performs discharge planning to support continued recovery.
- Documents clinical changes and interventions thoroughly.
- Participates in unit-based quality and safety initiatives.
