MetroHealth Main Campus – Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit. The unit supports 14 beds and provides high-acuity care with telemetry, central line care, and advanced respiratory support.

Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, BLS/ACLS, and have relevant critical care experience or PRN readiness. The role features rotating shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a), rotating weekends and holidays, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA BLS certification for the healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Primary Patient Population:

• Congestive Heart Failure
• COPD
• DKA
• Sepsis

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• EKG interpretation
• Central Line care
• Rescue Bi-pap, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents,
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies)
• Critical thinking, delegating, time management

Personnel RN will work with:

• Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT

Number of beds on unit:

• 14 beds
